In the latest new feature roundup...

We are delighted to announce the launch of our landing page builder in the Orbit platform. Plus, we’ve been hard at work levelling-up our campaigning functionality and adding features that enhance usability in the journey builder. We’ve added dynamic, zoomable maps to Orbit audiences and extended our data source integrations in Orbit connect – so you can connect even more data sources in Orbit. In FastStats we’ve added new relative time points to the segmentation tool and a DateTimeConvert function which converts a datetime from one time zone to another. And in PeopleStage you can now apply a process constraint to control how often people enter a process flow and how they enter, optimising your marketing efforts and improving customer experience.

Dynamic maps in audience workbooks

Administrators can now easily upload shapefiles directly into Orbit. GeoJSON files up to 10 MB can be uploaded directly into Orbit in the ‘map settings’ (in Orbit ‘application settings’) and the upload process is uncomplicated and intuitive. Administrators can also view and manage their shapefiles in this area.

Once the shapefiles have been uploaded, the user can then, in just a few quick clicks, utilise the new map settings in an audience to generate dynamic, zoomable, pannable maps to further analyse and refine their data.

  • The shaded areas outlined are selectable, making maps interactive and more functional
  • By default, results are displayed in ‘Quantiles’ (the method for dividing data into equal-sized groups) and this helps to reduce the effect of outliers.  Alternatively, you can show results indexed against the base data, which is often a better method for identifying the distribution of a particular marketing audience
  • Map backgrounds are provided by OpenStreetMap and are free of charge from Apteco

Introducing our new landing page builder in Apteco Orbit

Landing pages are an essential part of a digital marketing campaign and serve as entry points for visitors who click on specific ads, email links, or search engine results. They are designed to guide visitors towards a specific, clear call-to-action (CTA), such as making a purchase, booking a demo, or downloading a resource.

  • Capture visitor information with an embedded form to generate valuable leads
  • Design your landing page from scratch, or use pre-built templates to help you craft beautiful landing pages with ease
  • Quick and easy to set-up with smooth and responsive drag and drop interface
  • Boost your landing page performance with custom URLs, subdomains, SEO settings, and page descriptions for improved visibility
  • Tailor your landing pages for specific target audiences, to ensure that the message and offer are relevant and appropriate, increasing the chance of engagement and conversion

New ‘relative time points’ option when examining segmentation shifts over time

The FastStats Segmentation tool allows you to examine the breakdown of your customers (donors, subscribers, event attendees etc) into different segments based on their transactional behaviour, and then examine and track how membership of those segments has changed over time. You can automate and update this insight by setting fixed time reporting to create selections for further analysis or use the Segmentation wizard to generate segmentation virtual variables.

Users now have the ability to define 'relative time points'. This is particularly useful when analysing data over flexible time frames, and is valuable when actioning recurring campaigns, as there is no need for regular or repeated user intervention.

We’re taking our campaigning functionality to the next level

The developments in Orbit campaigns this year have been meteoric – but we aren’t stopping there. We are stepping up on usability to give you a campaigning tool that’s intuitive and easy to use, with more personalisation options, easier navigation in the journey builder and quick shortcuts to save you time and make moving around your journeys effortless.

  • Use the campaign run date variable as a content field for message personalisation in Orbit campaigns, for more dynamic and time-sensitive messaging
  • View audience details in the journey builder when in view mode. You no longer need to be in edit mode
  • Duplicate campaigns directly from the journey builder
  • Quickly navigate around your campaign journey, by jumping to other campaign sections using arrows on the path redirect step
  • Easily maintain a clear and manageable campaign flow using drag-and-drop functionality to reorder your campaign sections

Outpace your competitors with live data triggers in real-time

Targeting live audiences based on real-time interactions is a powerful strategy that improves engagement and boosts conversion rates. To do this effectively campaigns need to be triggered immediately after a new contact is added or updated in the live data audience. This improvement ensures that your campaigns respond in real-time to live data changes, helping you precisely target the right audience, at exactly the right time.

  • New data entries in the live data audience immediately trigger and run the associated campaign, ensuring your campaigns respond in real time to live data changes
  • Campaigns automatically start when a new row is added, or existing data is updated in a live data audience
  • Live data audience segments can be used alongside normal audiences. Journeys can be split based on whether recipients come from a live data feed or are part of your existing database
