Optimise your marketing efforts by targeting transactional activity 

You can now deliver even more relevant and engaging communications to customers, with the ability to activate transactional campaigns. By targeting transactional activity in your campaigns, you can more effectively guide customers through the sales funnel, optimise your marketing efforts, and ultimately drive more sales.

Send highly targeted, relevant communications, using transactional data variables,  to high intent customers, who are already engaged with your business, such as, welcoming new customers after their first purchase, sending order confirmations, receipts, delivery times or updates to shipping, review and feedback requests, post-purchase recommendations, and more. 

This feature also allows you to target multiple transactions for the same recipient, sending a separate message for each transaction, without being limited by email provider deduplication. Examples of the this include: 

  • When a customer signs up for multiple events, you can now target each event individually with a separate campaign, by sending tailored reminders for the specific event with details like venue maps, parking information, or links to digital tickets
  • If a donor makes multiple donations to various causes, you could send personalised thank-you emails for each donation, highlighting the specific impact, and how the funds will be used
  • For customers with multiple online orders with different shipping dates, send separate notifications for each order's shipping status, expected delivery date, and tracking information

Reduce clutter and streamline your campaign journeys with campaign sections

It's now even easier to craft and manage the ideal customer journey, with the introduction of campaign sections and path redirects. These powerful new components streamline campaign flow, so that you can navigate complex journeys with ease. Each section, with functionality matching the main campaign diagram, can be referenced from various parts of the campaign and linked to other sections. This simplifies the layout, reduces repetition, ensures consistency, and centralises campaign settings.

Sections can be neatly collapsed or expanded, to show more detail. Collapsing your sections minimises the need to scroll through lengthy campaign designs and allows quicker access to the sections that need attention. A path redirect links sections within the campaign. By clicking on a path redirect you can navigate directly to that section.

You can now also clone complex campaign sections to speed up campaign creation and avoid starting from scratch each time. Cloning also helps to maintain all the original redirect paths, which reduces the risk of errors.

The new compact design of the journey builder, together with campaign sections and path redirects, makes it easier to design, maintain, and optimise your campaigns. These enhancements improve the navigability of Orbit campaign diagrams, allowing you to make adjustments on-the-fly, when managing large, multi-stage journeys.

The transformative design makes it easier for you to manage, navigate and understand multi-stage, multi-channel journeys. With this streamlined layout, you can now quickly adjust and troubleshoot campaign journeys on screen, seeing a greater context for your work. The compact visibility improvement enhances your experience while being less resource-intensive. We've also added copy and paste functionality for individual steps within your campaign journey, so you can now copy and reuse steps anywhere in your campaign, saving you time by reducing repetitive configuration and reducing the chance of errors creeping in.

  • The new layout and colour scheme allow you to create and manage extensive journeys without compromising on-screen visibility
  • Real-time volume counts now display the number of contacts in a specific part of your campaign journey, offering more accurate insights than the previous cumulative counts
  • Hover your cursor over or lightly touch any step in edit or view mode to expand it and reveal additional details, making understanding and reviewing your campaign elements easier
  • Copy and reuse any journey step, including messages, interaction splits, audience splits, and time delays
  • Copy multiple steps within a campaign section and reuse that content anywhere else in your campaign journey
  • Cleverly, the paste option appears only in suitable locations, ensuring correct placement

Get immediate insights from powerful, full-screen chart visualisations in Orbit audiences

You can now create full-screen chart visualisations directly in Orbit audiences. This allows you to fully visualise your audience and quickly gain insights from your data without needing to export or manipulate it in other tools. This direct connection between the audience list and visualisation enables faster decision-making, without ever navigating away from the audiences UI.

The full-screen visualisations allow you to focus solely on the data being presented, eliminating distractions. This is particularly useful when analysing complex datasets or when presenting data to stakeholders, as it provides a clear and undistracted view of the information. The charts in audiences are interactive, allowing you to explore further with filtering and drill-downs, leading to deeper insights and a better understanding of your audience.

  • For a new or existing audience, you can add a variety of chart / visualisation types, these include: Bar and column, line and area, pie and donut, radar and funnel charts and Pareto visualisations
  • The newly consolidated, logically ordered chart properties side panel allows you to quickly and easily configure your charts
  • You can define dimensions, measures, and data properties in the chart properties side panel
  • Each chart appears on a separate tab enabling you to see multiple different visualisations of your audience

Save time and reduce errors with clever enhancements to dashboard tabs

In February 2024 we introduced tabbed dashboards. Tabbed dashboards allow you to explore multiple views of your data in a single application window. To enhance the usability of this functionality, you can now export multiple dashboard tabs as a single PDF, and duplicate and reuse complete dashboards, tabs, and single tiles.

Share insights from your analysis with your colleagues by exporting multiple dashboard tabs in one PDF. When exporting your PDF, you'll be able to choose the relevant dashboard tabs and preview the output before saving.  

You can also duplicate dashboards, tabs and tiles, which is particularly useful when similar dashboards or tiles are needed for different projects. This saves time by allowing users to replicate existing setups instead of creating them from scratch. Reusing dashboards and tiles also enables quicker deployment of new reports or analytics views and is especially beneficial in fast-paced environments where timely access to data is critical.

  • Maintain consistency and standardised reporting practices by copying, and reusing entire dashboards, dashboard tabs, or individual tiles
  • Streamline the process for exporting multiple dashboards and tabs as PDFs, saving valuable time and effort when you need to quickly share dashboard insights
  • Manually recreating dashboards can lead to errors, duplicating and reusing them minimises this risk, as the replicated dashboard is an exact copy of the original
  • Save time and effort, and optimise your resources, allowing your team to focus more on analysis and decision-making rather than setup

Engaging with live audiences in real-time allows for immediate interaction, increasing the chances of your message resonating with the audience, leading to better outcomes.

When you engage an audience in real-time, they are more likely to take action immediately, whether it’s making a purchase, signing up for a service, completing a survey or sharing content, leading to higher conversion rates. Add live data audience segments alongside your existing audiences and then split the journey, using audience and personalisation splits, to make the recipient's experience more dynamic and personalised.

  • Deliver highly personalised communications that are triggered by a recipient's actions in real-time
  • Provide real-time offers, discounts, or promotions based on live audience behaviour or events
  • Add an audience split to differentiate between existing customers and new subscribers, or between first-time buyers and returning customers
  • Use personalisation splits to customise your messaging based on the source or the recipient's interests, creating a sense authenticity
