Previously, you could only create recency features using numeric data (for example, the cost of a customer's last booking). To improve your predictive accuracy and create more effective campaigns, you can now use selector variables (such as, the destination of their last booking). This update gives you more flexibility to build powerful models and activate more targeted campaigns, as a person's recent behaviour is often very predictive and can reveal a lot about their future behaviour. 
Whereas using numeric data doesn't reveal the context behind the decision (like why they chose a particular destination), selector variables give you a richer view of customer behaviour by considering preferences.

You can now seamlessly launch a real-time tracker or reporting dashboard from your published campaigns, giving you immediate access to key performance indicators - such as communications, recipients, and revenue - without the hassle of manual setup.
Dashboards are generated pre-populated with key metrics – which is a huge time-saver and will pull your costs, campaign objectives and goals directly from the campaign. You can then customise and edit your dashboard, in exactly the same way you would a standard dashboard – by adding themes, metrics and filters, specific to your needs. And once you have refined your dashboard, you can share it with your team for maximum impact.

  • Choose the Tracker Dashboard for a real-time view of campaign responses and ROI, or the Reporting Dashboard for a comprehensive summary ideal for monthly or quarterly reports

Enriched big text fields 

We’ve increased the size limit for text fields, giving you even more flexibility when building your system and analysing data. Previously, text fields were limited to 255 characters, but now they can hold up to 32,767 characters! This means users can load much larger amounts of text into the system for analysis, such as customer reviews, social media posts, and more - giving you deeper insights and richer data.

  • With the increased text field size, you can load and analyse more detailed content, enabling more accurate insights from larger text sources
  • Text formatting is now also supported, improving readability and helping you interpret content
  • You can now preview cell contents more easily by simply selecting “Preview cell contents” in the right-click menu. Plus, you can copy text directly from the preview window, or from the menu, for a smoother workflow. Multiple cells can be previewed at once, and the window title helps identify exactly which row and column you’re looking at

Going forward, we will look to expand on the analytics we can do when working with text data, so stay tuned for even more powerful features!

12 new multi-dimension charts in audience workbooks 

Multi-dimension charts are great for uncovering trends, correlations, and patterns that might not be obvious in simpler visualisations. They include a combination of column, bar, line, and area charts, that can be clustered, stacked or stacked 100%. 
In this release we’ve added 12 multi-dimension chart types to audience workbooks, bringing audiences and dashboards even closer together, making your analytics experience smoother and more seamless. Our goal is to give you all the tools you need, right when you need them - so you can work effortlessly anywhere in Orbit. 

  • Multi-dimensional charts help to consolidate data into a single view, reducing clutter and improving readability 
  • When using multi-dimension charts, you can use filters and drilldowns to explore deeper insights while keeping the main visualisation clean and easy to read. 
  • Once you have created your chart, you can now also favourite it, and then reuse it on a new audience.
