Salocin Group was founded in 2020 by CEO Nick Dixon and is a specialist collective of brands that help organisations strategically get their data and tech future-ready. It has around 100 team members across all brands – Edit, Wood for Trees and Join the Dots – with its HQ located in central Bath. The Group has more than 25 years’ experience in a wide range of for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, enabling strategic operational and marketing CRM for clients, such as Jaguar Land Rover, Tesco Bank, British Heart Foundation and RSPCA.
Wood for Trees was originally founded in 2007 to deliver data transformation, analytics and insight that made a real difference to charities and not-for-profit organisations. The business has grown significantly over the years and was bought by Salocin Group Ltd. in 2023. We’re dedicated to helping charities and not-for-profits improve the way they handle, store and use their data, enabling them to better understand their supporters and optimise their marketing and fundraising activity.
We’re well known for producing regular ‘state of the charity sector’ reports, with analysis taken from Wood for Trees’ InsightHub benchmarking analytics and reporting tool, providing a snapshot of performance in the UK charity sector, comparing it to recent years to see the emergence of ongoing trends and patterns. For more than 15 years, we’ve worked with several of the UK’s most prominent charities, including Teenage Cancer Trust, Cats Protection, Dogs Trust and Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex.
In 2021, Edit became part of the Salocin Group, following its formation in 2018 through the merger of Occam, Response One and Amaze. We leverage strategic insights, data and technology to help B2B and B2C brands enhance their marketing, sales and customer service processes, accelerating customer acquisition, growth and retention. Our innovative approach has earned us the trust of leading clients like John Lewis Money, Tesco Bank and Jaguar Land Rover to deliver transformational marketing and operational CRM.
