Apteco partner Alchemetrics receive DataIQ Awards' shortlisting
Marketing database specialists Alchemetrics have been on somewhat of a roll in recent months when it comes to industry awards programmes, and that success looks set to continue with even more award shortlistings at this year’s DataIQ Awards.
The DataIQ Awards are being held on the 16th June aboard the Silver Sturgeon – the very venue on board which Apteco hosted their own user conference on a few years ago. The DataIQ awards are designed to recognise outstanding talent, innovation and hard work within the data and analytics industries.
Alchemetrics have been shortlisted in the Best Place to Work in Data category, while founder Francis Wallinger has been shortlisted in the Marketing Technologist category.
The Marketing Technologist award recognises individuals within the industry who manage marketing processes and automation programmes with a focus on business objectives. Wallinger has previously been acknowledged as a marketing technology innovator with a long track record of achievements – including, in 2002, the award of Entrepreneur of the Year in the Virgin / Sunday Times FastTrack Awards, receiving his award from Richard Branson.
The latest recognition follows shortlisting in the New York based Marketing & Tech Innovation Awards and a win at the MOMAs in the Best Use Of Data category earlier this year.
Alchemetrics MD, Dave Gurney, talked about his delight at the news of the latest shortlistings:
“We picked up the Outstanding Marketing Services Provider award at the DBM Awards in September last year and that was really the beginning of what has been something of a roller coaster ride when it comes to industry awards.
Being recognised by our peers in the Marketing&Tech Innovation Awards, the MOMAs and now the Data IQ Awards tells us that we must be doing something right. We’ve grown 45% in the last year as a business so it’s great to see that success being recognised at the awards. Here’s hoping we pick up another winner’s prize at the awards’ evening in June!”
Apteco’s Managing Director, James Alty, congratulated the team at Alchemetrics:
“Alchemetrics are a long standing partner whose positive and collaborative ethos is evident in their work with us. Their attitude to their staff and clients and their overall business culture is one that fits with Apteco extremely well. We wish them the best of luck in the upcoming awards!”
