Apteco sponsors the Manchester area cross country league

Apteco is happy to announce its sponsorship of the Manchester Area Cross Country League for the 2014/15 season.
This league is seeing growing participation numbers, great quality of competitors and is an event that can be enjoyed by all. It helps to nurture younger runners, and provides a healthy, competitive space for them to grow and develop in.
Rob Downs, Apteco's Technology Director comments "Apteco are proud to be sponsoring the MACCL through the 2014-15 season. We aim to encourage exercise and promote grass roots sports both for our employees and in the wider community. Cross country is a great way for runners to progress to competitive racing and have a lot of muddy fun in the process. The first fixture at Woodbank Park included over 1000 athletes from over 60 teams. There were 6 exciting races from under 13s through to seniors with the runners tackling a course across parkland, through woods and up steep hills." This event takes place in Rob Downs home area and as a keen runner himself he regularly attends these events to cheer on the competitors.
